MS Paint is a simple graphics and drawing program included with Windows, used for creating and editing images with basic tools. It allows users to draw, paint, and manipulate images using features like color boxes, shapes, and the eraser.

MS Paint एक साधारण graphics और drawing program है, जो Windows के हर संस्करण में मौजूद होता है। इसका उपयोग उपयोगकर्ता (users) द्वारा drawing करने और photos को edit करने के लिए किया जाता है। यह प्रोग्राम diagrams बनाने, images को resize और rotate करने के लिए भी इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है।

                                                                                            

MS Paint में कई drawing tools होते हैं, जो आपको अच्छे चित्र बनाने और editing करने में मदद करते हैं।

MS Paint में बनाए गए फाइल्स को Bit-Mapped कहा जाता है और इनका extension “.BMP” (Bit-Mapped Picture) होता है।

                                                                                             

Launching MS Paint

MS Paint को ओपन करने के दो मुख्य तरीके हैं:

Method 1: Start Menu

1.   Click on Start

2.   Go to Windows Accessories

3.   Select Paint

Method 2: Run Command

1.   Press WinKey + R (Run dialog box open होगा)

2.   Type "Pbrush" or "Mspaint"

3.   Click OK

The File Menu in MS Paint

·       New (Ctrl + N): नया blank file बनाता है, जिससे आप नया drawing या editing कर सकते हैं।

·       Open (Ctrl + O): पहले से बनाए गए drawing या image file को खोलने की अनुमति देता है।

·       Save (Ctrl + S): मौजूदा drawing में किए गए बदलावों को save करता है।

·       Save As: Drawing को अलग-अलग formats में जैसे .png, .jpeg, .bmp आदि में save करने की सुविधा देता है।

·       Print (Ctrl + P): मौजूदा drawing को paper पर print करता है।

·       From Scanner or Camera: Scanner या Camera से document या image को scan करके उसे image format में save करता है।

·       Send in Email: Drawing या image को email attachment के रूप में भेजने की सुविधा देता है।

·       Set as Desktop Background: मौजूदा image या drawing को desktop wallpaper के रूप में सेट करता है।

·       Properties: Image के properties जैसे size और resolution को दिखाता है।

·       About Paint: MS Paint के version और अन्य जानकारी को दिखाता है।

·       Exit (Alt + F4): MS Paint program को बंद करता है।

                                                                                             

Home Tab in MS Paint

The Home Tab contains basic options for drawing and editing pictures. It is divided into five groups: Clipboard, Image, Tools, Shapes, and Colors.

                                                                                             

Clipboard Group

·       Cut (Ctrl + X): Selected area or text को काटता है।

·       Copy (Ctrl + C): Selected area या text को कॉपी करता है।

·       Paste (Ctrl + V): Cut या copied area को paste करता है।

·       Paste From: MS Paint में external image insert करने के लिए उपयोगी है।

Steps:

1.   Paste drop-down button पर क्लिक करें और Paste from option चुनें।

2.   Dialog box से image चुनें और Open पर क्लिक करें।

                                                                                            

Image Group

·   Select: Drawing के किसी हिस्से को select करने के लिए, Rectangular selection और Free form selection के विकल्प होते हैं।

·         Crop: Selected area को crop करने की सुविधा देता है।  

·         Resize: Drawing या image का size बदलने के लिए उपयोगी है।

Steps:

1.   Resize option पर क्लिक करें।

2.   Vertical और Horizontal size सेट करें।

3.   OK पर क्लिक करें।

·         Rotate: Drawing या selected area को विभिन्न directions में rotate कर सकते हैं।

                                                                                             

Tools Group

·   Pencil: Freehand drawing के लिए उपयोगी है।

·   Eraser: Drawing से कुछ हटाने के लिए उपयोग करें।

o    Tips: Eraser का size बढ़ाने या घटाने के लिए Ctrl + + और Ctrl + - का इस्तेमाल करें।

·   Fill with Color: किसी enclosed area में color भरने के लिए उपयोगी है।

o    Left-click for Color 1, Right-click for Color 2.

·  Pick Color/Eye Dropper: Drawing के किसी हिस्से से color उठाकर उसे अन्य स्थान पर लागू करने के लिए।

·  Text: Drawing में text box बनाकर text डालने के लिए।

·   Magnifier: Specific area को zoom करने के लिए।

·   Brushes: विभिन्न प्रकार के brushes का इस्तेमाल करके drawing करें।

                                                                                             

Shapes Group

·         Shapes: Rectangle, Triangle आदि shapes बनाने के लिए।

·         Outline: Shape के outline style को सेट करने के लिए।

·         Fill: Shape के fill properties को सेट करता है जैसे - solid, crayon, oil, water color आदि।

·         Size: Shape के outline की width को सेट करने के लिए।

                                                                                             

Colors Group

·         Color Box: विभिन्न रंगों का selection करने के लिए।

·         Edit Color: यहां से नए colors को edit और add किया जा सकता है।

                                                                                            

3D-Painting: यह एक नया टूल है जो MS Windows 10 और 11 में उपलब्ध है, जहां आप 2D और 3D drawings और art बना सकते हैं।

Steps:

1.   Home Tab पर जाएं।

2.   Edit with Paint 3D पर क्लिक करें।

3.   New पर क्लिक करें और अपना artwork बनाएं।

                                                                                             

View Tab in MS Paint

Zoom

·         Zoom In: Image के zoom level को बढ़ाता है।  

·         Zoom Out: Image के zoom level को घटाता है।

·         100%: Image का zoom level 100% पर सेट करता है।

Show or Hide

·         यह option आपको Ruler, Gridlines, और Status Bar को दिखाने या छिपाने की सुविधा देता है।

    Display (Full Screen)

·         यह option image को full screen पर display करता है।

Resize the Image Size Using MS Paint

1.   Paste From option से image insert करें।

2.   Resize option पर क्लिक करें।

3.   Pixels option चुनें।

4.   Horizontal और Vertical size सेट करें।

5.   OK पर क्लिक करें।

                                                                                            

Change Image Extension Using MS Paint

1.   Image पर Right-click करें

2.   Open with पर क्लिक करें और MS Paint चुनें.

3.   Image, MS Paint में open हो जाएगा.

4.   File menu पर क्लिक करें.

5.   Save as option पर क्लिक करें.

6.   File name टाइप करें.

7.   File extension (जैसे .jpeg, .png) चुनें.

8.   Save पर क्लिक करें.
